It's like writing on tissue paper

Maybe it's for a special purpose but I bought a calligraphy pen. My favorite weapon is the Pilot Parallel Pen. It's like writing on tissue paper. If you move fast and fold sheets, I've seen it easily soak 3 sheets. When you slow down it bleeds and it's impossible to get a clean sharp edge. Even if I use a Chinese calligraphy style brush, I don't see the point. It's like writing on tissue paper, except for the texture on one side. I'll use it like tissue paper so I don't waste it. SHAME. Not…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Nice to use

It's really smooth to write on with brushes if you know what you're doing. Also, it absorbs ink very quickly, making it a pleasure to draw Japanese or Chinese calligraphy on it. Be sure to put something underneath as it will bleed a little (it's very thin and delicate). Also, be sure to apply steady pressure for a few hours after using a brush with a lot of ink right after it dries. Otherwise, it will quickly begin to deform and wrinkle. To avoid warping, I found that one should pressurize it…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

it is easy to practice

the paper is very thin but holds the Chinese stone ink very well, does not spread. I used it for stone ink chinese calligraphy and put a grid under it, it's easy to practice. The bad thing is that the paper on the words you write shrinks and creases quite badly. I don't think you can easily attach this paper as it is very, very thin. One side of the paper is very smooth and the other is textured with a slight roughness which is more suitable for calligraphy, I used the rough side for writing…

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • crumpled
