Will not be damaged by a car wash and headwind on the Autobahn

The original antenna was bent during a car wash and will degrade when cornering in a headwind. This shortened version of the antenna works great, picking up the radio easily and going through a car wash.

Easy installation for antenna mounts

It took just over 3 seconds which was supposed to be all the time. I had to determine the correct screw size. It took longer than the installation itself. Very easy. Looks good. Works perfectly. I haven't had a chance to check the reception distance as we've only driven around town so far.

It's short but it doesn't work.

I bought this because it was short, I didn't want to mess with soft touch car washes. I installed satellite, otherwise I listen to music from your phone. Otherwise it has terrible reception, I'm within 75 miles of the main train station towers. Not worth it if you're trying to get a regular radio. But for my application it is perfect.

Perfect fit and functionality on the MINI Cooper F56 2015 - fits UNDER the roof box!

Perfect fit for my 2015 MINI Cooper F56 Hardtop! Fits under my Thule roof box and leaves about 1.5 inches of space. The radio reception went from very patchy without an antenna to perfect with one. It was neatly packaged with about half a dozen screws and adapters of various sizes. Installs in about 5 minutes. Despite being listed as 'black' it looks more like a really dark metallic gray metallic but still looks good.
