Very easy to use on spares

Worked very well. I was able to quickly adjust the idle speed on a Husqvarna push mower. A bit disappointed that I only had to use it for 2 minutes!

Practical tool priced

Pro: The price was right. Seems accurate compared to the existing tool I have. Cons: This is a use until the battery dies and throw it away. Although I think it will take a few years. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

If using a non-contact tachometer, hold it near the spark plug. he takes your hand This clamps the connector cable, freeing up your hand and allowing the tachometer to be farther from the unit. Works perfectly.

Smart Budget Tachometer

Easy to use, just attach the alligator clip to the spark plug wire. Seems accurate based on what I expected the RPMs to be. Nothing compares to any other touch. The main downside is that the case is epoxy potted, meaning the battery is not replaceable. I gave it one star for that.
