Keeps brown sugar soft

My brown sugar hasn't hardened in the cupboard since I started using it a few years ago. Since you soak it in water before use, I was concerned that the water from soaking would harden the sugar, which would be detrimental to the finish, but that's not the case. I water regularly. I bought a second one for my dark brown sugar.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

Works perfectly! But soak overnight first, not 15 minutes

This little square is AMAZING. The only recommendation is to soak at least overnight and not 15 minutes like the instructions say. I had a bag of brown sugar to use as a brick. I placed the hummingbird on top in an airtight container and the next morning I was able to pour out the sugar as if I had just opened a new bag. UNREAL!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No mold required

It worked! My sugar is soft again!

My coconut palm sugar was rock hard, rock hard! So I thought ok I'll give it a try and see if this thing works and of course! I soaked the disc overnight, made sure to wipe dry, then placed it in a container - the next day my sugar was soft and usable! It's been almost a week and it's still soft. We'll see how long it takes before I have to soak again, but it's worth it!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Product and label do not match. Not bad quality control.

I tried to explain that I ordered chamomile twice. Once they sent a moose and another time a bear. On the back sticker, both were labeled Daisy. These were Christmas gifts and I had no confidence that if I ordered a third time you would get it right. It was a big disappointment. Someone is mismatching the label to the product.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Felt like witnessing a miracle

Saved my brown sugar from being thrown away. This product solves the problem of brown sugar that has turned to stone. You're not kidding, only a jackhammer could break the sugar I had into pieces that were just right for the recipe I was making. So I searched the internet again for a way to soften brown sugar and came across these terracotta discs. Used as directed and my brown sugar was restored. I felt like I was witnessing a miracle.

Pros
  • Builds trust
Cons
  • Tradable

Went like clockwork!

After you put a whole packet of brown sugar in a can, it turned rock hard. I couldn't even knock it off with a metal spoon. So I googled "how to soften brown sugar". One option is to put it in the microwave, but I couldn't do that because of the metal on the can. Another option I found was to purchase this item. After reading the reviews I decided to go for it. I valued less than $10, what have I got to lose? I soaked it in water the night I received it and then placed it on top of the brownโ€ฆ

Excellent for softening hardened brown sugar

I had a full packet of brown sugar that was very close to a hard solid block. In a cup of warm water/room water for 20 minutes, then pat dry, set on top of the brown sugar and cover the Pyrex pan with cling film. Eight hours later the brown sugar was soft, like fresh, brand new brown sugar. One of those brown sugar liners is now packaged in a sachet of light brown sugar that I just softened and the other liner has been placed in a sealed sachet of fresh dark sugar. Brown sugar. For someone like
