This was a refurbished item. The only thing I don't like is that someone or the manufacturer "glued" the screen back onto the speaker with superglue instead of replacing it with a new screen.

My husband was dying to have a portable speaker for work but needed something with a clip as he is always on the move. The clip broke after 1 month of use and the speaker cover fell off, but we glued it back on. It has been "refurbished" but I think the next time my husband buys something like this we'll buy it brand new. I was hoping it would last longer though.

I have a Flip 4, UE Roll 2, Onyx 4. I think after using these others I had higher expectations. Sounds good, of course, but what about the sound. It's not as loud as I expected. No way out low. I usually pair my Onyx 4 and Flip 4 together and can't pair it. Something strange. I like the high frequencies and clarity of this speaker. I wish there was a way to disable bluetooth related audio. Flip 4 dominates in my opinion.

The sound quality is amazing. I mainly use it for phone calls - instead of my iPhone's speakerphone.
