First the light show, then the speaker.

First it's a light show, then a speaker. The light show is pretty cool, but as for the sound, it's ok. Of course, until you get a song with bass. If the bass was better I would give more stars.

Surprisingly impressed

I saw some bad reviews and was skeptical about buying a refurbished JBL Pulse 3. Was surprised that it came in the original packaging with all the original contents. As far as performance goes, the light show is amazing but the sound quality isn't that great compared to my other JBL speakers (Charge 3 and Flip 4). I will come back and update this in a month or so.

Fun speaker for wireless and streaming audio

Pairing with our phones was very easy. I love the variety of lighting styles available. The sound is good for the pool and we didn't even have to turn it up very loud because the sound is crisp and clear. Doesn't take up much space. Waterproof so far with splashes etc. Very glad I chose this speaker.

Don't buy refurbished

is my second impulse for jbl 3. The first was phenomenal in every way, enough to make me want to buy a second. Unfortunately the second time around I bought an "updated version from Amazon". Apparently they didn't test it because the light stopped working, which was a big plus for me as it works like a lava lamp in my studio and has only been used once on a blue moon for music. super disappointed. I will no longer chase after an updated Amazon product. What a pity. To be clear the actual…
