Not for TJ in door jamb

This device is too long for use in TJ. I tried changing it and it turned out to be unusable. I have 97 TJ in which it could not be used.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Unsure

Doesn't fit Jeep Wrangler TJ (2001)

This item didn't fit my TJ! Luckily my switch on the back was off right now. But it was too late to send him back. Didn't want to return it for 50% of the price.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Something else

what a stupid design. I removed and installed both switches.

I put it in, closed the door and broke it, what a stupid design. I took out both switches and threw them in the bin. I should be sending them back but I think Jeep designed a stupid switch. I switched the system to a wireless switch, much better.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Good but not perfect

installed easily, but when I closed the door to "set ".

I saw very mixed reviews (only 1 or 5 stars) so I thought I'd risk it. The first one I bought installed easily, but when I closed the door to "adjust" it, it broke as several other reviews have said. So, fool, I bought a second one. This time I was very careful with it and tried to set it with an Allen head and rubber vise prior to installation. I adjusted it to 3 ribs to match the original. As soon as I loosened the vise, the butt switch popped out again.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • there are nuances
