Type of review

I needed about 1.5 hours for the installation. Quite easy. So glad I spent the money. I've had a lot of stereos in my 30 years of driving and it's important that your music sounds good. I just bought a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU last week and the stereo and speakers are useless. I don't understand why Jeeps are so expensive and come with $5 speakers. The Kicker Upgrade 6.5 are perfect, they mount directly to the soundbar and faceplate without cutting or splicing anything. The front panel on the…

Great sound for cars and automotive electronics

Perfect for my 2013 Wrangler JK Unlimited. They sound better than the cheap stocks. I only installed two in the soundbar. You can feel the bass much more. Anything to help this standard radio. The upgrade cost money. It probably still sounds better if I replace the front ones, but just trying to get through until I replace the whole block. I've put so many upgrades on my Jeep in the last 3 months I'm a bit frozen lol. New top, new steel bumpers, Warn winch, 2.5" Mopar lift with Fox shocks, new…

Best Hit for the Dollar!

I currently have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Willy that I bought a few months ago. I had a basic audio system with a touchscreen radio and "no navigation". The base speakers in the Jeep frankly suck. I was trying to get used to it and adjust the sound quality because I'm the cheap/frugal type. At some point I couldn't handle it anymore and did a lot of research on the new speakers. I got offers next to the speakers I wanted and they all wanted $500-$700 to buy and install them. I found these…

Much better than stock speakers

Product: I've always complained about the sound of my JKU and before I did anything drastic with my sound system I decided to give them a try and oh my god! I was impressed by the difference in sound quality. If, like me, you don't want your ears to blow or sound like a "low racer gangsta" but at the same time be able to listen to good music while driving and really enjoy the sound; then this is a good option. Don't expect extreme sound, but if you have standard speakers (rather than a Jeep…

Do you have a jeep You need it.

Dude, seriously? I can't believe how big the difference between them is. I've read reviews on here that say there is a difference, but not night and day. Well it's day and night in my jeep winter and summer. matter and antimatter. It's almost like. how. Okay, I'm running out of analogies. let me explain. I seriously considered getting a compact subwoofer and amp that would fit under my driver's seat. My 2015 JK stock system sounded like a 1983 Fisher Price turntable. Why do they do it? Don't…

  • Mostly good, but...

When I wrote the review below, I only installed two of the four kickers (the ones in the soundbar). I have now completed the installation of the two remaining kickers in the dashboard. The speakers came with a pretty good instruction manual, but in 2015 there are a few minor differences that aren't addressed. First, the underside of each speaker module has a small metal bracket that attaches to the dash frame with a 10mm screw that comes out of the underside of the dash. You will need to spring
