I used this clear bag to store my cowboy hats. I can look through to see what I have and it keeps my hats dust free until I'm ready to put them on. Works perfect.

They do the job and the drawstring is very handy compared to bags with bunny ears or bags without handles. They don't usually tear on the inside, we even put some old flower stems right in and the plastic didn't rip when the bag was closed. However, if you don't tear the perforations cleanly when separating a new pouch, you may accidentally tear the next pouch. They left a gap between the perforation and where the plastic was pressed, probably for this. For us this is not a big problem.

They're pretty cheap and they tear easily! As for the bin liners in the bathroom, which are taken out daily, they work well.
