Bought a few weeks ago to listen to my tapes. Of all the portable tape recorders for sale at Revain I think this is the best. The body feels very solid, as do the keys. The bandwork runs very quietly and the playback sounds good. The radio transmits AM and FM signals well. It has a write function, but I haven't tested how well it works. Ask for a belt clip. SUMMARY A well built (compared to other new cassette players) unit that gets the job done although it looks and feels better than it sounds. If a person has realistic expectations, they will be happy with their purchase.
