It is not recommended to purchase these speakers for installation in a new boat. The notch and screw pattern is larger than most traditional 6.5 speakers. Once you have reinstalled your speakers you will be quite limited by these speakers due to their size. There are other speakers with the same size and screw pattern, but they are expensive. First of all - read the description - the speaker grilles are silver. The pictures on Amazon appear white - what I thought I would get (my bad). Second, Jensen's quality control could use some improvement - the tweeter wiring isn't routed properly in its designated channel - hence the speakers don't sit flush on the mounting surface, but wobble. They fit my Tahoe Q5i speakers. I installed them under the boat's dashboard in special cases. They match well and sound better than the cheap Boss indoor/outdoor speakers I've had before. Goes well with Jensen Marine head unit. I wish they were less expensive. The Jensen is mid-range audio at best and feels like a premium price point.

This is a perfect match and color to my stock speakers in my 2018 Bayliner 195DB. I am by no means mechanical, but I can Tell you this is one of the easiest tasks I have ever done. 4 screws, pull off old speaker, connect new speaker, 4 screws. Ready in under 5 minutes and works like a charm. As they were only sold as a pair I now have a fresh backup for the next speaker that starts going haywire!
