It hasn't played any of my CDs and it's pathetic to set an alarm just by reading poorly written instructions. I sent it back.

Birthday present for 9 year old granddaughter and newly renovated bedroom. She loves listening to stories on Adventures in Odyssey CDs, which is great!

Clock/Radio/CD/Alarm clock look great but the buttons were difficult to maneuver and the snooze button only worked in one corner. Bad thing. The instructions were not as descriptive as they could have been.

Also, the instruction manual on the Revain site is difficult to read, I did not find that the volume is automatically increased to the maximum when the planned one alarm sounds . I set it to the desired volume on the radio, but it got loudest about 15 seconds after the alarm when I turned it back on.

This device does what it promises. Previous negative reviews have mentioned several issues that could be resolved by reading the instructions. It has 20 presets. There is an "undo" function. Everything works fine, the instructions are detailed. It has warnings about using a USB charger, so I wouldn't rely on it. Best of all, it has an amazing VHF antenna wire!

When I woke up in the morning to the news that sounded well above the comfortable volume I had set, I was terribly surprised. I called Jensen Electronics to tell them that the volume increased when the clock radio was turned on and how to stop the volume from increasing. They replied that the radio was programmed to get louder when the alarm went off. So if you like shaking when your radio is on, then this is the machine for you.
