Works great and my wife likes it. The included bulb is 15 watts I believe and the edge light was almost useless. I replaced it with a 40w LED bulb (equivalent) and it's much more useful.

I love this mirror! My friend had to install it. I got home and saw a decent hole in the wall. Luckily he knew what he was doing. The mirror looks great but the light isn't as bright as I thought it would be. If you buy this mirror make sure you have someone who knows how to wire everything. Great quality and looks great in our bathroom!

The unit is quite good and the rechargeable flashlight is a useful feature eliminating the need for batteries and cords. But the "motion sensor" light is disappointing and needs fixing. The light comes on when you are very close to the mirror, but if you step back an inch the light goes out. With every movement, the backlight turns on and off constantly. I tried to "defeat" the motion detector by covering it, but for some reason that didn't even work. The rest is OK.

Very satisfied with the product. Miss had one of these for a while and she expressed her opinion that we should have one at home. We have one at home now. The instructions say I believe the mount is 58 inches off the ground. We've found that it's best to mount with the main user's eyes at mirror level. 58 was too high. I installed 2 of these mirrors on built in tables in my spare bedrooms to reduce the burden of sharing a bathroom between 2 rooms. The light is ok but I installed a brighter LED bulb which helps but you still need another light nearby. Lord knows ladies can't put makeup on too easily. The bulb that comes with this mirror does not have enough luminous flux for efficient use. I bought a Kakanuo E12 2.5w warm white 3000k 25w led bulb which added about 25% brightness but still didn't quite match it. There is no heating problem like an incandescent lamp with LED. Replacing light bulbs is very easy. Mirrors are simply reflective sheets glued to translucent plastic. They work, but not like the quality mirrors of yesteryear. I found it a good buy compared to similar lighted magnifying mirrors. Installation requires some technical know-how, as you have to be willing to drill behind the wall and plug in an electrical box to hide the power cord, but the end result is well worth it. It took about 2 hours to install the electrical box and run the cord through the bathroom outlet. The mounting screws to attach the bracket to the electrical box were missing, I was lucky and still had a few spares. I didn't go for the LED version because I like it when you turn on the light before showering, it uses the heat of the bulb to prevent condensation from forming on the mirror.
