This was exactly the mirror I was looking for - I have bad knees so I had to sit down and do my hair. I have long hair and this was one of the few mirrors I could find that was of a height that allowed me to see my hair as I pulled it up to curl it. My wife likes the nice shiny look (see picture) but the 25W bulb is not suitable for lighting. I tested a standard 40 watt candelabra light bulb with a small E12 screw base that fits. 40w provided the required brightness but the label on the mirror says 25w max probably due to the heat generated by the higher wattage bulb so I ordered a small/cold 40w led light which only Consumes 4 W and has the same characteristics.
