Jerome Russell Punky Colour Purple Review

I'm always trying new shades of purple and have tried these. The smell is great, I like the consistency too. It drips in the shower like everyone else, but it's not too bad, and a quick spritz of Clorox foam bleach fixes it. Only thing is it's not real purple. I would say that this color makes my hair look more like purple. I'll probably go back to special effects next time as I still think it's the best dye I've ever used, but it lasts quite a while. I like punky because it's easy to apply and the color lasts long. The color was called lilac but I think it should be lilac. When I think of purple, I think of a mix of equal parts blue and red. It doesn't have enough blue to qualify as purple.

The reason I give it 1 star is because the color wasn't true purple. It came out red. I used Manic Panic highlighter on a section of my hair that made it almost platinum and the color still came out red instead of a beautiful red.

This color works but I was disappointed. I was bleached and did what I was supposed to do but there were brown spots and bright purple spots. I don't understand brown spots because I started out blonde. Although it keeps going. It's not very visible indoors, but it shines outdoors. Overall I'll be buying it again this spring when I'm out more so the color of the van can be seen lol.

I bought this color for my 7 year old. Since the school is closed until at least August, why not? We left the paint on for about an hour and the color is amazing. It still looks great after a wash (although I know it will last a few more washes). It was definitely worth it and she loves the way she looks!

My daughter's perfectly colored blonde wavy hair. Couldn't ask for more! I had to buy a second bottle as one wasn't enough for her hair which is about 2 inches below her shoulder. The color was vibrant and the smell was great, not chemical at all. The color lasted about 1 month.
