Our dwarf hamster hangs in the bunch of keys like a noose on a banana hammock! That was really scary! Luckily she was released and fine, but it definitely traumatized her. She became less active and not as sociable with us even after a few months.

They are very cute and good material, but the banana is too small for a guinea pig, it could be good for a hamster but not a guinea pig , but my guinea pig fits in pineapple, but now I can't use banana, that's the only thing I wanted

Both items had shrink wrap so I figured it might just pop if I cut the shrink wrap but neither did. In the end I was able to lift the pineapple a bit but try as I might I couldn't keep the banana on its feet which is a shame as that's why I ordered it. The pineapple was difficult to peel, so I stopped using it.

Bought because they were advertised for guinea pigs. There's no way they can be big enough for anything bigger than a hamster. I can't remember if the size was in the description or not. If so, that's my fault, so 2 stars instead of 1. Aside from being new in that they're shaped like fruit, they're utterly meaningless if you've got the munching critters. They're so flimsy they punctured within a few days, and they're attached to a single piece of tape with a loop that was immediately chewed.

These reviews are so funny. In fact, it's not the manufacturer's fault that your pet chewed on the product. I want to share my dwarf hamsters both love it. Pineapple is preferable to banana - banana is small. I notice they both poop in it, which suits me. Feces are easily excreted. If you know that your hamster or other pet likes to chew, this article is not for them. While the hamster loved it for about 2 days and even slept in it and made his nest out of it... he managed to gnaw a hole in his back and got stuck between 2 layers of cloth on the floor. I'm very thankful that I was there when it happened and was able to pull it out by cutting a hole in it. He was in a panic and tried to find another way out, but couldn't. Poor guy is hurt and I think I am a little bit too. Definitely don't waste your money on it and if you do, please take care of your pets…
