Jeweler's Eye Loupe: Clip-On Glasses for Jewelry Making and Repair, Craft Magnifier Review

I was looking for a magnifying glass with good quality lenses and good workmanship. These magnifying glasses from India are disappointing. The worst thing is that the lenses are of poor quality. They are serviceable but have minor scratches and nicks. I wish there was at least an option for upgraded lenses.

Loupes are nice but the clip that is supposed to attach these loupes to the glasses frame sucks! everything. Poor design and absolutely NO quality control. What a waste of money. Buy something else.

I have macular degeneration, my regular bifocals are no longer helping, I click one of these onto the left ear cup and place the lens directly over the center of my left eye. All I have to do is tilt my head down and my field of vision goes through the lens. Works great, hopefully useful work for a few more years.

I used magnifying glasses to work out the details and thought this device would solve the problem of switching between normal view and magnified view quickly and easily. This device really fills that need. My only issue with this device is the build quality. It seems to me that more effort could be put into the design and manufacture of this magnifier.
