Not bad for the money

This brake kit is pretty good. They hold up much better than the cable brake systems on the bike. I would recommend them if you want to stop quickly and with good control. The price was pretty good too.

Excellent stopping power

I switched from Tektro mechanical brakes. You are a huge improvement. Braking works smoothly with minimal lever effort and can stop me at 260 pounds and my steel-framed 750 WE bike. In addition, they can be very well matched to the rotor and are very quiet.

If you need to level up and are on a tight budget, this is the place for you!

Fantastic when I broke it. I was downright brutal during those full downhill races and took on anything I threw at them. I am very happy with this purchase and they require a little tweaking and patience but they get the job done. Also works great with adapters and 203 rotors.

Expect mineral oil leakage due to product design.

I'm wondering why I kept losing compression after 3 pump attempts. I removed the breather well and noticed the piston looked loose and came out easily. No seals, no removal effort as with Shimano or SRAM products. Garbage. My guess is that the source of their air was a piston seal failure due to poor product design. The metal on the air vent is incredibly soft, allowing it to essentially be removed once. The bleed screw on the lever is incredibly soft, so plan on using it once. Standard mineral

Heavy but easy to install

I was constantly having trouble with the Avid Juicy 7 brakes on my production mountain bike, so I decided I'd had enough and pulled the trigger on these 4 pots. Installation was incredibly easy and quick. There are no instructions, but it's not rocket science. I had to replace the front mount with my old one as I have 180mm front rotors but other than that the setup was easy. Took a quick test drive and they work - not crazy but seem good enough. Let's see how they behave when the pads break…
