This wasn't a bad purchase and I knew what I was buying before I received it. I just stopped, maybe it would have mattered a bit more, and realized it wasn't. I don't feel much more secure with these than the supplied factory mounts, I'm sure they could look a little better but you can't see them so it doesn't matter. They are fine again

These J-Hooks are great. They are thick and well made. Bolt is thicker than it looks and fits well into the pre-punched holes in most standard truck tool boxes. They have a wide handle to hook onto the bed rails and are perfect for fitting the tool box into the F150 2015-2020 aluminum bed. When visible from behind in the "gap between truck side member and body" they look very clean and tidy. They cost a few dollars more.

I used 4 of these to hold a 60" crossover toolbox on a 2019 Tacoma Limited. I also drilled a hole in the toolbox to add a safety bolt to the bed, but that's not necessary - they work great on their own. The teeth on the clamp engage the bed/deck rail system and show no sign of shifting. They turn on and off in less than a minute or two. Great product, very well made and thought out.
