ENGINE CYLINDER LEAKAGE TEST: JIFETOR cylinder leak gauge set is designed to detect a variety of common engine faults including: worn piston rings, worn valves, cracks in cylinder walls and blown head gaskets. Available with either single gauge shows % of cylinder leakage, or twin gauge manifold show cylinder leakage and cylinder pressure. Suitable for any gasoline engine with 14, 12 or 10mm spark plugs. The % gauge is a precise instrument, please handle it with care. WORKING PRINCIPLE OF LEAKDOWN DETECTOR: Once the leakage tester has been connected to one of the cylinders, compressed air (45-100psi) is fed into that particular cylinder through the built in pressure regulator. Diagnosis is made by observing the amount of leakage that is indicated on the cylinder leakage gauge and by listening for leakage at various points of the cars system. Please note: This cylinder leak tester is not suitable for shallow cylinder. DUAL PRESSURE GAUGES ASSEMBLY: There are American style air plug, pressure regulating valve, aluminum manifold body, cylinder pressure gauge, cylinder leakage gauge, 19" long rubber nylon resin hose with quick coupler on the assembly. The two gauges adopt rubber cover protected 3" large dial, the pressure gauge with scale range 0-100psi/0-7bar, and the leakage gauge with color coded range marked with HIGH MODERATE LOW SET. 3 ADAPTERS AND OTHER PARTS: There are 3 sizes adapters brass coated aluminum 14mm(fixed on a 10" long hose), aluminum 12mm and 10mm (both can be connected to 14mm adapter), can help to test the gasoline engine with 10 12 14mm spark plugs. The instruction has detailed introduces about notification, connection method, operation steps, fault diagnosis, please read it carefully first. The quality is terrible.

I have used this product several times. The spark plug terminal leaks horribly which completely defeats the purpose of the tester. A second gauge showing how much the leak ruptured during the first test at 40psi. The only active part of this kit is the pressure regulator that works.

Cheap junk fits compression gauge

The threads are cheap brass junk and are not precisely cut to prevent threading into the spark plug holes without binding. It also leaks at the output port, as pointed out by a previous reviewer. We are annoyed by the constant garbage products. Waste of time and another delay in completing my renovation!

Fairly good quality at a very reasonable price

This tester helped me diagnose three small engines the day I received it. Appears to be of good quality. However, the included adapters didn't fit the Blower Echo backpack I was working on. It was ok because I had my own adapters. I would definitely recommend/buy it again

Don't buy this junk.

I have never had this problem. I put it on but it leaked at the base. Slightly tightened and the same. I tried uninstalling it and I literally twisted it for an hour. What now? We strongly advise you not to buy this. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP PRODUCT. I'm so disappointed I even removed that. Jifetor better send me a new head for at least 3urfe.

From the photos of all the leak testers these are almost all from the same manufacturer. And yet everyone had a different opinion. It didn't have all 5 star ratings BUT EVERY time there was a problem with a product they were more than willing to step in with the customer to fix it. So it was with me. The thread on the spark plug hose was a little stripped and an email was answered within an hour or so with an offer to return or replace the hose. I went with the hose and this second one looked…

Very dangerous, repairs can cost a lot of money

This is a defective product which has cost me almost thousands of dollars on my '09 BMW 750 li. You must stop selling this product until you repair the main hose that connects the spark plug sensors to the cylinder. That's what happened. I screwed a hose into the spark plug cylinder and connected the other end to pressure gauges to force air into the cylinder. After I disconnected the air from the cylinder and tried to unscrew the air duct from the spark plug cylinder, but it continued to…

I took a risk and scored!

I have reviewed many leak testers on Revain and could not find one with consistently good reviews. I suspect that many of the poor reviews stem from mishandling of the device (it's easy to damage one or both sensors if you don't follow the correct procedure), but there have also been many seemingly legitimate complaints about weak parts and bad quality. I noticed this tester from jifitor which was recently published and has 0 ratings. It was on the budget end of the range so thought I'd give it
