Jigsaw Puzzle Glue Mat Sticks Review

One pack easily covered my 18x24 puzzle. The leaves aren't that difficult to use if you move slowly and use the small tool that comes with the kit to smooth out the tape. You can press hard, and the tape is completely transparent, even the stitching isn't visible! I was skeptical about being able to pick up and hold the puzzle, but once completed it proved to be pretty solid.

I had a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle and didn't want to put those foil pieces on the front. I had to find a way to turn it around. The first time was a disaster and the puzzle fell 1/4 apart. After the rebuild I used clamps and another board (two total) and was able to flip it over with no problems. I did notice some creases when inserting the sections, but that didn't matter as they were at the back. After that I was able to complete it with no problems.

We place aluminum foil under and on top of the completed jigsaw puzzle, fold the sides around the edges to wrap the jigsaw puzzle and then very carefully turn the entire package over. There's probably an easier way to do this, but this worked for us. Realizing that was all I found my old roll of clear contact paper and used this instead. I sent back this overpriced "Puzzle Saver". The contact paper worked great to hold the puzzle together and fit in the puzzle frame. In addition, the standard contact paper roll was wrinkle free and could be cut to larger sizes if needed. super easy. These puzzle blocks are not as sticky or strong as others I have used. They don't look like cardboard/paper with glue. They are more like laminate, a material similar to transparent tape. They are more difficult for me to put on as they are thin, like a ribbon. So you need to glue on one side and then gradually glue to the end of the sheet. So yes, it works. That ties my puzzle together, but I feel like this is some kind of false advertising. It says it can work for a 1000 piece puzzle, but the product is actually just cut out, folded pieces of contact paper. Firstly if I knew this I would buy my own contact paper and it wouldn't be folded which you should never do with contact paper.
