Purchased in April this year. I don't dry my hair every day and I really liked this hair dryer. It worked very well and then I noticed that it felt very hot the last time I used it. I thought something came up with it until I started wiping it off and saw the plastic of the hair dryer itself was melting. :( Huge disappointment because it has worked so well up to this point.

The hair dryer is light and relatively quiet at a lower speed, but it periodically switches to cool when my finger or thumb is removed from the cool button. It only takes me 5 minutes to dry my hair so it's not because the blow dryer is too hot. Also, the spout is loose so I can't direct the heat along the brush as easily and it even hits the floor a bit so I have to reapply 1-2 times every time I blow dry. Just don't make it worse. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

When I first used this hair dryer I was delighted that it was very powerful but also a little disappointed that it didn't get very hot and I prefer to blow my hair on a high Temperature to smooth and round brush. Then I remembered the little nozzle that comes with the dryer just for that purpose. Not only did he do a GREAT job of straightening, the temperature got warmer and my hair was super shiny and healthy. Will definitely recommend it!
