Very good remote timer on purchase now 4/30/16 I'm disappointed as he no longer talks to the camera.

I got this in the mail yesterday. This is a replacement for Neewer's LCD trigger. This remote didn't work at all so it was sent back. Then I noticed this remote control on the website and ordered it. After reading the very short instruction manual, it took me about 20 minutes to get used to it. I use it on a Nikon D7100 and once I get the hang of it I love it. The manual says it's supposed to take up to 999 shots, but the remote itself only works up to 399. This really isn't a problem for me as

Good in many ways - just don't trust the

Used on D610** Update - new device started to become unstable and finally won't start my camera - about 1.5 months. Focus seems to have worked, VR on, but there's no trigger. Thought it must be the camera from the first incident. I tried it on a friend's camera and the same thing. The lens focuses but does not release. New batteries didn't help. I tried to contact RainbowImaging through their website but the form was not accepted. Then I used their email and got a response within 45 minutes. It

Useful, with some advantages, some disadvantages.

I bought this intervalometer after buying two cheap Neewer style ones (very poor quality) had thrown away. This product right here feels solid and well built, time will tell how long it lasts. Pros: - Very bright display, easy to read (but also drains the battery more!) - Turn off the display backlight when you're done, which helps drain the battery. This is unique, never seen on other consoles. The button that turns on the backlight also turns it off. It's also useful for avoiding being framed
