👖 Joe Rocket Alter Ego 2.0 Textile Pants for Men Review

I received these pants the other day and although they are quite comfortable and have a good grip, the buttons are of poor quality. They came off every time I tried to get on the bike so I decided to return them. You may be luckier than me, but I'm not getting a replacement.

Looks good, the size was recommended to me, but it sits much higher than normal trousers, so it's a bit tight in the stomach area. They fit great everywhere. They seem solid, but I still try not to crash test them. I've only tried them in warm, dry weather, so I don't know how they perform in the wet. They are very comfortable with shorts underneath.

My husband put a new windshield on his bike and during a sharp 90 degree turn the glass somehow caught the throttle cable causing the bike to accelerate into the turn immediately. In the end he had to park the bike, but, he says, "my gear saved me". Minimal wear after sliding on pavement for about 30-50 feet. His only combat wound was a raspberry the size of a quarter berry on his right elbow.

I bought these 3 years ago and they are still holding up well. 3 ski seasons in Alaska and Texas. I broke the zipper because I was fat and needed a tailor to fix them, but overall the quality is excellent. I've lost all the weight I've gained and they're still amazing. Just make sure you can wear work clothes underneath to make sure it fits.

Definitely a must. It had all the details I was looking for in terms of pants. Ventilation, opening at the bottom for easy removal without having to take off your shoes/boots, water-repellent, making them an all-weather pant. I followed the size chart and it is spot on. I'm 5'10" 200 lbs, waist 36, strong athletic build, I'm an XL short, I like having a little extra room if I want to wear underwear.
