Excellent textile trousers.

I really like these pants. They completely block the cold from the wind, I almost never use a liner, sometimes just a little lycra as a layer. One of the few plus size pants, I have 34x36. It's oddly hard to find pants longer than a 34.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Nothing here

Nice pants, go one size up

Bought a smaller pair first based on the recommendation (large). Was too small for me, chose XXL Jic (6ft 1in, 215) and it fits very well. Definitely recommend taking one size up than you thought as the waist is well adjustable if needed.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Some small things

GOOD QUALITY EVERYTHING

I weigh 5-10,240 pounds. I ordered XXL in normal length. They sit comfortably over jeans. The height of the knee pad is adjustable. I feel like a short dress would suit me a little better. The zippers on the legs are full length and very easy to put on and take off, but they tend to get caught in the zipper flap very easily, which helps them resist water.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good for the price of safety pants

I am 5ft 9" and 160lbs. I bought the size short/large. is 32. They go well with jeans. The only problem I've had with them so far is that the outer leg zippers get caught on the inner flap and take quite a while to unzip. It's easy to zip up once you figure out how to keep the flap out of the way.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Working speed

Problems with the size of the protective trousers

Overall a good pair of trousers at half the price of others. I had sizing issues. I'm 5" 11", 210 lbs, pant size 33" x 33-34" and the Joe Rockets size chart says I'm a medium size. I ordered the large/regular first so there was a little more room and the waist was still very tight and the legs were perfect. I had to go back and take a size extra large/regular and the waist fits perfectly but now my legs are swollen. It would be possible to order xl/short but then they might be too short. It's…

Leaky step! For Motorcycles and Weightlifting

Although these pants keep me warm in cold weather and I believe protect against road rash and reduce bumps and bruises in an accident, there are thin fabric flaps covering the leg and crotch zippers , get caught in the zipper as usual and make it difficult to put on and take off. Then, when it rained, those pieces of fabric didn't seem to do anything to keep water out! My First Gear jacket worked great, but the rainwater that ran off the front of my jacket seemed to go right through the crotch…
