Wrong size and uncomfortable fit

These gloves are not true to size. The fingers are almost half an inch longer than other gloves of the same size that I have. I would have gone back, but found it easier to sell to a long-fingered friend and eat the losses than pay restocking fees and worry about shipping. Size aside, the gloves are good and I want them to work. They have a nice fleece lining, a YKK zipper and are flexible. The touchscreen functions seem to work, I suspect if they weren't suitable they would work better.

Pros
  • Easy fit
Cons
  • I don't remember

Touchscreen sucks! fingers are long!

The index finger touchscreen part, the part of the glove that supports the touchscreen to some extent, is difficult and inconsistent. Sometimes my finger needs to be flat on the phone or I need to use the tip of my finger. The width size fits my hands (size smaller and the gloves would be tight) but the fingers of the gloves are long. It's like they think that if you have wide hands you must have very long fingers or something. I don't have short fat fingers either. My fingers are about normal…

Great retro style too long fingers and wrong strap

I really like the retro look of these gloves so I was dying to wear these gloves. Unfortunately the finger size is too long. I've worn other Joe Rocket gloves in the size I bought these and they fit perfectly everywhere. These gloves fit my palm, wrist and thumb well, but the fingers are too long. Kind of too long. So long that I almost want to return them for another pair because I may have gotten a defective pair. But other reviewers have complained about the same thing, so I know it's not…

Thumb too long

I wear them when I ride my motorcycle. But when they're on, I can't operate any of the switches on the steering wheel because the fabric on my thumbtips is loose and getting in the way. The rest of my fingers are fine and I don't have an unusually short thumb. The inability to use turn signals/engine start/fuel selector switch/horn etc makes them dangerous to the motorcycle. I would have to cut off my thumb an inch to make them usable. Also, the knuckle guard on the index finger doesn't extend…

Review of two months of continuous use

After two months of continuous use, I say the following. For the price you can't go wrong. For some reason the touchscreen function works better on the left hand than the right, but that suits me. Now let's move on to other things! These gloves wear out quickly and if like me you are usually XL you will find a couple of weeks where either your fingers are suddenly shorter or these gloves have stretched. The touchscreen feature works best when your phone does not have a screen protector. Just a…

$50 can be worse.

I have just received these gloves, so I have not yet tested their insulating properties. I have a few different pairs of JR gloves, all leather, with cafe racer short cuffs like these. I bought this glove primarily for fall/spring when lighter rockets start to thin out. I don't have a big run on my hands so I'm sure they'll be around 55-70. As for the fit, I want it to be as close to the skin as possible. I buy small leather gloves because they stretch when they break in and I don't like…
