I was looking for dressier pants for my super skinny 14 year old son for his 8th grade transition party. I read many reviews stating that these pants fit the bill. My son liked the pants. He's 12, I bought him a size 14 but he was too small. I changed it to size 18 and the length was perfect just a little loose at the waist. My son wore the belt and it was perfect. The quality is pretty good considering it costs less than $20.

I ordered a size 3T pair of dark gray trousers for my son and when the trousers arrived the color was dark blue rather than dark grey. I contacted the seller and she informed me that she sent me the charcoal and that the color of the charcoal comes in different shades. If you receive these pants in good light, they will be blue instead of grey. I've never had anything charcoal blue. The pocket they were in was marked as coal, but the pants definitely weren't. My son is between two sizes. 12 in some products 14 in others depending on style and brand. I ordered both 12 and 14 thinking 14 might be a bit big. The 12's were too small and the 14's didn't even close at his waist but were ridiculously long. I returned 12 and 14 and ordered 16 thinking it would fit just right at the waist and I will hem pants more everywhere but the waist. 16 also can not fasten. The quality is good, the delivery is fast, but the size did not fit.
