Not Bad - Carpenter's Square

I'm not sure this tool is perfectly level when I put it in my roof angle, but it's close enough for the rough carpentry I use it for and the price was good.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No Instructions

Suitable for measuring and marking tools

This square is square if you take the time to sand the edges. It's made by cutting off the metal edge, as you'd expect at this price point. As long as it's smooth on the highlights, that's fine.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Nice Try Square is the best in Carpentry Squares

I received this to replace my old test square which was having aging issues. This new device is beautiful, easy to use. easy to read markings and very accurate. It costs a little more money than some of the cheaper ones.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Dear

Looks great on carpentry squares

Haven't actually used this and checked if it's square, but as far as I can see and feel it's not bad for $5. The metal seems solid, but the plastic part feels like it might break after a few drops. So just don't drop it you say. Well I'm clumsy and if I drop it and it breaks I might buy another one for $5 in a few days.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Thank you Johnson Level & Tool.

This is the third tool I have ordered online made by Johnson Level & Tool making three good investments. Everything, including the Steel Try Miter Square, is well built, easy to read, and easy to use. I'm just starting my first workshop and need quality tools on a budget. Thanks to Revain.com and Johnson Level & Tool, my workshop is going well and on budget.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Perfect Try Square Carpentry Angle

I've been using this angle for years and it has never let me down, never rusted or stained. A square has the perfect 90 degrees you can find. Although I didn't buy it to measure, it turned out to be very useful for quick measurements. The rule is not intended to be an accurate measuring tool, and most trial squares don't even show the dimensions stamped on the blade, which I think is a bonus. I highly recommend this square and hope mine will continue to give me years of life. I'm not giving it…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll add later
