Stainless steel ruler will not rust

For measuring 45 degree angles for miter cuts. Also for cutting custom cuts for floorboards. Stainless steel ruler will not rust.

Well made and durable.

Well made and sturdy. The numbers and markings are carved into the metal and painted black. Easy to read. Easy to set up. More expensive than most competitors but you get what you pay for.

Accurate and easy to read.

This is a very accurate and easy to read square. I've compared the measurements to the Mitutoyo line, which I know is exactly JIS. It was cheap and made in the USA. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Heavy-duty die-cast zinc head with chip-resistant black finish.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks.

Don't buy it as a reliable tool.

Stainless steel ruler 16 inch Available for the average handyman, this is good but the locking mechanism is different than the ruler. This encourages slippage and makes inaccurate measurements and allows the 90 and 45 degree settings to be "wrong". If you use it all day every day, don't waste your money. If I could give 1/4 stars I would.

Pros
  • Hardened scriber won't fall out
Cons
  • Not bad but...
