It's hard to find dental floss without a mint flavor. I avoid mint because it's an anticoagulant and can cause problems if you swallow too much (which happened to me a few years ago). This thread is waxed and unflavored, perfect for my needs.

I expected the floss to be wider, slightly different than regular floss. My expectations were not met. I can't tell this thread apart from others.

This is a regular Reach Dentotape available in pharmacies and grocery stores. I was looking for a wider band and kept this one because it's the only one usually available. Will keep looking.

Tape is OK. I reject the case containing the tape. First, the small metal hooks at the top had to be bent up so they could hook onto the ribbon. Second, the top of the plastic container usually opens and the tape spool flies. The top's "latch" that is supposed to hold the top down is not strong enough to ensure that the piece of tape you cut off actually opens the top. I need to seal the lid with tape to make it practical.
