Nice Stationery & School Supplies Set

The Joi-Fun Glass Dip Pen Set is beautiful with a wide range of different ink colors to choose from. I'm personally not the best at calligraphy, but I still find it very fun to use this for handwritten letters. The ink pigments are nice and rich, and it's a lot of fun to watch the ink travel through the curves of the nib as they run out. The tip of the pen is soft and writes very well. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves hand blown glass, fountain pens or calligraphy.

Dirty but beautiful end product

This is my first pen and ink set and I love it. The colors are strong and the ink has a slight sheen. The pen tip is sharp and the ink flows smoothly (not to mention fun). My only complaint is that opening ink jars can be messy. I've never worked with this product so I don't know if the dirty fingers are just part of the process like dying or painting fabrics, but I couldn't find a way to open the ink jars without taking them out. on the hands - and is not immediately washed off. My pen is clear, not iridescent, and ink bottles don't really reflect the color.

So this set could make a great gift, but that's not true in a number of ways. First, my pen was clean. No rainbow like in the picture. There was a small speck of glitter in it, but it was barely noticeable. There are tons of beautiful colored inks. Unfortunately the labels don't reflect the color and it's hard to tell when looking at the bottle. I have to put little sticky paper dots on the caps and put some ink on them so I know which is which. It's doable, but it's a lot of work for no good…
