This is my first pen and ink set and I love it. The colors are strong and the ink has a slight sheen. The pen tip is sharp and the ink flows smoothly (not to mention fun). My only complaint is that opening ink jars can be messy. I've never worked with this product so I don't know if the dirty fingers are just part of the process like dying or painting fabrics, but I couldn't find a way to open the ink jars without taking them out. on the hands - and is not immediately washed off. It would also be nice if the inkwells had color names. Otherwise a fun product and easy to use.
