🍵 Handmade Ceramic Jomop Pottery Teapot - Enhance Your Tea Experience Review

This little teapot is a lovely little item to add to my collection of small garden window pots. It was packaged in custom styrofoam in a cardboard box so it would be easy to gift wrap if you could give it as a gift! It can also be used as a flower vase at a wedding or children's party. This is white porcelain with a gold rim on the lid, spout and handle, and the case is exquisitely painted. I am very happy.

This teapot is beautiful and just like the photo. Unfortunately the spout broke after 3-4 uses. It didn't break, but cracked just enough for the tea to seep through - mostly hairline cracks. I used ordinary tea bags and poured boiling water over them (I did NOT heat them on the stove). I think this kettle cannot handle boiling hot water. Too bad because this is a really nice teapot.

I'm afraid to drink from this kettle. It has a strange smell even after I clean it. I'm afraid of getting sick from it. I test it for lead and other materials at my sister's work place. I'll come back and let everyone know if it's poisonous to drink from. It's nice, but I wanted a drink. The seller claims it is possible. I plan to contact Amazon if this item contains lead and is toxic to ensure the seller is listing it correctly. Update: I have returned this product. I haven't bothered to check
