Best Price per Dollar

It's not the cheapest model but I think it's one of the best options. I have this model and another cheaper one (an additional $5 desoldering pump I got from Revain). This one is way better. The tip is detachable and sucks in more air and with more force than most other desoldering pumps I've used. The only potential issue I can think of is that it's larger than the cheaper ones (13 inches from tip to top of plunger) - if you have small hands it can be a bit awkward to use. I like it. .

Better than metal. Some useful tricks

When I buy a tool, I really value the quality. I had my doubts as I usually prefer metal over plastic, but after doing some research I found that this style is recommended by a lot of people. The reason is that it has a much larger chamber and therefore much more suction power. This worked really well to remove the solder, but here are a few tips that worked for me. 1) I noticed that after a few uses it started to lose suction and I opened it up to find the o-ring was loose and only lightly…

Pros
  • Spare parts and accessories
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.
