I would not recommend this product

Makes a lot of noise but ineffective. The chimney does not suck in smoke and dust, it just floats in the air around it. The head is heavy so the hand does not hold it well. I would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Soldering and soldering supplies
Cons
  • Some bugs

buy filters. The ones with the fan are the wrong size

Not satisfied yet. Why? After opening the box, there were three filters inside. But only two of them fit. The third filter didn't even fit in the cutout for the filter, meaning it just falls out of the fan housing. Filters are by far the most expensive part of the kit and here's where to get them.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Doesn't do the one job they're supposed to do. The fan is too weak to remove fumes unless the iron is within an inch of the machine, which is not possible on many repairs. But even when the device is in close proximity, it doesn't even filter the fumes enough to notice the difference in the room. After soldering in just a few minutes, the room is filled with the smell of flux. The power button is also poorly placed and you have to adjust the angle of the device to turn it on and off. I am very…

Pros
  • Extractor
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
