I ordered internet from Comcast (Xfinity) with a DIY kit. Unfortunately, my drop was not hot. Instead of waiting for a tech to just remove the stupid terminator, I did it myself. (The purpose of "locking" in the past was to prevent people from stealing the cable, but now it's all digital and encrypted, so there's little reason not to keep drops alive.)
