I bought these shoes for a friend so we can tap together. He said they fit well and are comfortable. We danced a bit together and I was impressed with these shoes.

It's so hard to find dance shoes that fit my son. He wears a size 13 and they just don't make much variety in his size. Thank you for giving him the opportunity. They go together perfectly with a bit of room for him to wear socks!

For the money you can't beat this shoe. Finding entry-level men's shoes was a challenge, but these are perfect for my aspiring male students. They used to have to buy expensive shoes to find the right size. The tow box is roomy and the shoes are decently supportive. Faucets also have a good sound. Definitely a deal. I have no idea about tap dancing. I only bought these to bang around the house with my daughter during our fake tapping sessions to entertain her and tease my wife. I don't have a bow so I can't wear them for long. But my daughter still loves to pretend to dance for just a few minutes and I annoy my wife immediately when I take them, so I'd say they're a hit on both fronts. I'm thinking about wearing them to the mall and challenging random people to a "recusal" like in the 1989 movie "Recusal."

I read several reviews, mostly negative, but still took a chance. Since I took the time to read the comments, I knew what problems to look for. Yes, the heel would come loose after a week (depending on use) if I hadn't checked. So I secured it with glue before it became a problem. Did the plate wobble? Yes.
