I bought a set not sure how they would work. I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic they were, I bought a second set! I hung them outside on the edges of our patio. They were so easy to install and set up, I set the mode once and haven't had to touch it since, every night they turn on they do it in the same mode every time. Very easy to set up, the spheres are bright and the different modes are cool, although the basic modes, steady or slow glow, are the best. I also like that there is plenty of wiggle room to mount the solar panel away from the start of the light if needed. These are the lamps I hung on my 10x10 porch. Think that 2 strands of 20 feet each would be enough. Unfortunately, there are about 2 feet of feeder cords to the power supply going into those 20 feet.
