Description of JOR Indian Almond Leaves for Neon Tetra, 2-Inches, Dried Leaves for Spawning, Create Brackish Environment for Tropical Fish (Guppy and Platy), Pack of 60 Leaves

✔ DELICIOUS TREAT FOR TROPICAL FISH --- The tropical freshwater fish likes guppy, gourami, corydora, betta, and neon tetra requires certain forms of food and treats in order to thrive. As the catappa leaves settle down at the bottom of your tank, they are the perfect delicious dietary supplement for your pet. Watch as your fish shred the leaves completely. ✔ PROVIDES SHELTER AND BREEDING SPOTS --- At a practical size of 2” in length, the pack of 60 JOR Large Indian Almond Leaves provides substantial areas for your neon tetra fish and other aquatic pets to swim around and hide behind. The leaves also create cozy and secure places for your fish to breed and spawn their eggs. Baby fish can cautiously stay among the leaves until they are confident to come out and play. ✔ RELEASES ELEMENTS THAT STABILIZES pH LEVELS --- Once catappa leaves are fully waterlogged, they begin to release beneficial elements. They help in stabilizing the pH value in your aquarium water. They also soften the water that benefit your aquatic pets by enriching and conditioning their water. It imparts color to their fins. ✔ MIMICS BRACKISH HABITAT FOUND IN THEIR NATIVE HABITAT --- As the beneficial elements in the large catappa leaves are released, they will turn your aquarium water a yellowish-brown color. This is evidence that the leaves are doing their job, as the characteristics and appearance of the water mimic the tea water habitat where your freshwater fish live in the wild. The color is an indicator that your pet fish are getting the supplements that they need to thrive. ✔ USEFUL TO MANY TYPES OF AQUATIC LIFE --- These Small Miracle Leaves are the ones that you’ll find in the wild, making them an excellent addition to a variety of habitats. Along with aquariums, the leaves serve as leaf litter for vivariums, paludariums, terrariums, and ripariums. Fish such as pleco, catfish, cichlids, characins, and gouramis benefit from such an ambiance.

I will buy again! best aquarium water treatment

My fish seem to love them because they create a more natural environment for them. I love that the leaves are also very small so they look really pretty and I can easily replace them when changing the water!

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • vulgarity

Not quite flaked almonds

Not sure what the flakes are but they are not flaked almonds, they sank in about 2-3 days and my cherry shrimp didn't even touch them after I put them on left there for a little over a week.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • So far so good

Almond leaves don't. on Fish & Aquatic Pets

Not quite what they say. Great for garnish, but tannins don't come from these leaves. Your cleaning crew probably won't care about them, which is fine if you don't want them eaten.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
