I guess I didn't know what I bought. I thought it was similar to the hair straightener I bought 7 years ago. It doesn't even have what you use for temperature control. Even my hair wasn't that hot.

Do not buy. Very disappointing because not hot enough to straighten your hair. It takes 7-8 strokes for each small strand of hair.

This is very cool and works fast. This stamp on José Heber's website is $300, I bought it here for $40. I originally had one from José and it lasted me 6 years and would have lasted longer if the dog hadn't chewed through the string. I ordered this as a cheaper replacement and it works GREAT! So far I am very happy with the purchase. I hope it lasts as long as my last one.

This curling iron caused a power outage and I had to call an electrician. DO NOT BUY! It heats up very quickly and is very hot and blew our plugs! very expensive to replace. Sent as soon as possible
