Beautiful bags that are perfect for a smart food waste bin, but are not BPI certified compostable, so they are not accepted by most municipal recycling programs in the United States.

This bag is perfect for my desk compost bin. He also made it through the whole week without getting worse; before I can toss it in my open trash can. (The previous biodegradable bag I used started to break down within a few days of use, resulting in a significant leak.) So far so good 👍Buy it, you'll love it!

Although I like the concept and product line for quick composting, these inserts are not suitable for Compo4. They're about 1/2 inch smaller, so it's impossible to stretch them through all four corners without tearing them. This is a fragile compostable material that would be great if it fitted. I wouldn't buy it again for €14. Oh, and I contacted Joseph Joseph about this and got no response. Very disappointing company in this progressive industry.

Can't tell if I liked it or not. The container I bought it for has only been used once. Are you wondering why I only used it once? This is because it really isn't good for a person. Perfect size and shape of the compost bin. Unfortunately, those earbuds render it useless. The bottom of the bags broke a few times when left full on the counter. However, after 3 months in our compost drum, which normally produces compost much faster than a pile, these bags have not decomposed at all. After a further 6 months, the parcels in the heap remained completely undamaged. We spent some time collecting all the bags of finished compost before we could use it in the garden. I like the…
