Works well but contains chemicals

Good value for money. Very easy to use. No bad smells. Disappointed to find out it contains anti mold chemical. But it seems to make the flies happy. However, I'll probably make my own again, using apple cider vinegar as a mold repellant. It takes longer, but everything is natural.

Didn't prevent mold

This is supposed to prevent mold but the first two times it formed within a week. I followed the instructions exactly and made sure to mix the packet myself, just in case. The third time I added vinegar to prevent mold and it was still moldy but it took three weeks. I think I might have had a bad batch but it's quite frustrating and I'm really tired of cleaning those disgusting moldy containers.

Fruit flies love it and last longer than other mediums.

Although nothing really wrong with this product, fruit flies like it, it lasts longer than other products I've tried, the price is really good. My only concern is that the media is quite difficult to shuffle compared to Neherp media. Even follow the instructions step by step. If neherp didn't charge another $10 just for shipping I would go with them but you can't beat the cost of Josh's frogs. So far my experience with them has been very pleasant. Definitely the industry leader.
