Description of 🌱 Maximize Plant Growth with Joshua Roth 1804 Combination Water

Used for sharpening fine Japanese knives and tools. Use for sharpening shears and other cutting tools with straight blades. 280-grit gray bauxite stone on one side, and a 1500-grit white aluminum stone on the other side. 280-grit stone can remove very small nicks and burrs. Fine grit stone gets the cutting edges back to their original sharpness.

That works great! in Hand Tools

I had various sharpening stones 800/6000, 1200 for my Japanese damask knives, Shun knives, JAHenckels. They all work great. I have to go from 800 to 6000 steps and it took me a while to get a super sharp blade. For a faster decision and the opportunity to use the knife immediately, I use the ceramic stone by Joshua Roth from 1804. It is much cheaper than natural stone, but it does the job perfectly. I recommended!

Pros
  • Tools and Household Items
Cons
  • Small Parts

Japanese quality for hand tools

I bought two more whetstones in Tokyo. They are larger and four times wider. This one is smaller, so sharpening is less convenient than the original Japanese size, but that's no big deal. This stone is good for sharpening knives. I'd upgrade its holding base, but for that much money, you can't expect an endstone. You get a lot for little money.

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Only available in black

best stone i ever had.! :-)

This is a good stone to start with. For an amateur. New Zealand) and found that many related items either could not be shipped to my destination or the shipping cost was 3-4 times the value of the items purchased which is outrageous.

Pros
  • Power Tools and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
