These are beautiful shoes for my 22 month old baby. The leather is tough but I expect it to soften a bit over time. I've worn them all day with no problems. I hate that he scratched his finger the first day he put them on but he's a boy. I was told not to buy shoes for my child online because I don't know how they would fit, but am happy with my purchase. A piece of tape on the bottom helps with traction.

The shoes are very beautiful and well made. The reason for the 3 stars is because the description says they are walking shoes but my little one slipped because the sole is too slippery. I am returning because my 1.5 year old toddler couldn't walk properly in it. Otherwise they are suitable for older children.

I'm the grandmother who insisted my grandson wear these shoes for his first steps and I'm so disappointed! He has a wound about 1.5 inches long on the outside of both ankles. These shoes are flat with a small hump for the inner arch. So I bought a good pair of Skechers instead, and Neosporin speeds healing. Times have really changed. These aren't the best shoes for our new steppers.

I get so many compliments on my daughter Josmo's pink ostrich shoes. They are so easy to clean and strengthen her ankles so she can walk better. I usually run them on carpets, not slippery spots. In addition, they are well made. I bought two pairs.

Nice shoe but doesn't work. My son learned to walk without these shoes. Don't save money. Toddlers learn to walk in any shoes, preferably barefoot.

They are very cute and well made. However, the leather sole is very slippery and the leather is hard. The shoemaker's $25 visit brought the rubber soles and the leather did a little work to make it more flexible. My kid wears them every day and they hold up great.

Doesn't hold a baby at all. I didn't expect to get non-slip shoes, but I didn't expect to get shoes with such a slippery bottom either.

Only 2 stars because the inside of the shoe is sturdy and the outside is a really good quality shoe. My little one didn't like them at all. They are very slippery on hardwood floors and carpets. Just be prepared to put some tape or something on the soles. We will give them to another family. Hope someone else can wear them better.

These are the perfect shoes for my little girl, she will wear these shoes until they fix her legs and feet no matter how long it takes.

They sent me used and damaged shoes. There is no small bone on the sole, the soles are dirty, there is a dirty spot inside the boot. I have ordered a new pair and hope the next pair will be better

I would give 5 stars but unfortunately they are not enough for my 1 year old. I bought more of these than he needed but they still feel too tight on his feet. Shoes look good. My only problem was that my grandson, who is a very good walker, kept slipping in while running. The bottom of the shoe did not have adequate slip protection.

My son, 10 months to 11, loves them. He still kinda knows how to take them off (we're just looking and one of them doesn't work), but we also made them a little bigger for him to grow in. They really make him more stable and safer when standing up.

I feel that while a firm sole is necessary, the shoe needs to be altered to be a bit softer at the ankle where it ties. It's too heavy and hurts her little ankles.… :( woo

These shoes are very cute BUT the floor was so slippery my son fell with every step. I had to buy non-slip stickers to stick on the bottom. They were also very sharp on the sides around his ankle. Because of this, he only wore them once.
