JOY Glee Body Strips Removal Review

If I had read the reviews here first I would never have bought it but a friend recommended it. I decided to give it a try. Contrary to another woman's experience, the strips removed over 97% of my hair AND I was able to use the same strips 2-4 times at times. the direction the hair is growing and then pulled against the hair growth like normal waxing so maybe that was why it didn't work for others. These wax strips smell like chewing gum! I don't care what face wax smells like, but it's a nice bonus. Just don't eat them. 😁 Looks great on the chin and lip. Gets all the hair the first time and causes less pain than other waxes and wax strips I've tried for some reason. When I missed a spot (my fault, not the wax's) I was able to use the same strip to reapply a small area. Plus it's so easy and the cleaning cloth works really well. I will buy them again. No fuss, no fuss.

I rarely write a Revain review, but I had such a bad experience with this product that I felt I had to say something. If you have sensitive skin, this product is NOT for you. I have used this product twice and both times I have bruised all over my bikini line. Also, the strips barely removed the hair down there and I still had to shave. I bought them because they were affordable, but looking back I think it's worth spending a little more for something that works. I also hated the fruity taste.

This product is unusable. The wax didn't pull anything out. Instead it stayed on my skin and then the final wipes meant to remove the wax residue just stuck to the wax that didn't come off with the strip. Drawn nothing. It has a pleasant smell, but it's useless. What a waste of money. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!

Bought face strips and bikini to use before travel. They seemed easy enough to use and I'm used to salon waxes so I know what pain and results to expect. The scent is pleasant but VERY strong and the strips are pretty easy to apply. They left almost no hair on my upper lip, which was so red and irritated afterwards that I couldn't conscientiously go back to touch up 97% of the remaining hair.
