"A Must-have Tool for Engine Maintenance

This tensioning tool made my life so much easier! It aligns and locks the camshafts perfectly during repairs or replacements. The build quality is great, AND it feels sturdy in your hand. The tensioner mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. The only downside is that it`s a bit pricey compared to some of the other options out there. Overall, I highly recommend this tool for any serious automotive enthusiast or mechanic..

Make sure you have a firm grip on the crank and cams before releasing with this kit.

It required some adjustment to properly fit a 2016 Chevy Sonic 1.8L, but this job would not have been possible without this kit. Conventional camshaft holders are not suitable due to the variable valve trains.
