Seems cheaply made and

seems flimsy the second time I unscrewed the cap the whole part came out 2 piece assembly would I buy again NO upgrade will just each Times worse when I use it

White Gravity Water Inlet Cover

White plastic thin fits the inlet fits the hoses does the job replacing the old one cracked by UV. Why don't so many people realize that maintenance is NOT the same as repair?

Inexpensive plastic fitting

Does not sit tight, does not last long. I ended up throwing it away after installing it, creating the plywood backing, etc. What a waste of time and effort. I went to a marine store to buy a stainless steel model for $50 but this will save me 10 hours of work later.

Pretty good for freshwater tanks and intakes

I would have preferred the one shown in the picture but I have a beveled edge instead of a flat surface. This is important if you plan to drill more holes and insert additional screws as the chamfer is hollow in the mounting surface without enough material to support its shape.

Works and looks good.

Fits and looks good. Both hoses are correctly connected. The threaded holes didn't line up, but that's a very minor point. It would be nice if screws were included. My old one had rusty screws. I used new stainless screws to install it. Looks a lot better. The installation takes about 10 minutes. Be sure to seal it.

Good product great price.

The original filling hole was not large enough. This one is a bit bigger. I had to use an oscillating tool to widen the hole. As you can see from my photo, my motorhome is a bit older. Not sure if it would be better attached to a newer RV/RV. Despite the need to change the hole a bit, it was a good replacement job. Added som-butyl and some sealant to seal. Looks a lot better than my rotted, brittle original.

I would recommend it to a friend, just know.

Pros: Good overall fit and function. CONS: Doesn't come with a round rubber/foam pad to seal the hole like the OEM does. How narrow are the screw holes? Due to the very small tolerance, you cannot use a standard Allen key to tighten screws. My screws have a .25" hex head (not flat/Phillips). I used needle nose pliers to tighten them. I would recommend this product to a friend.
