Doesn't look quite like the photo

Doesn't look quite like the photo but still nice. My 7 year old loves it. It's big, but it's necessary for a blanket. The free gift was terrible and I threw it away, it smelled bad and was quite long, I didn't let my daughter try it on.

good quality, long for my 8 year old.

This knit came as described, good quality, long for my 8 year old girl but she still loves it. I actually bought two. Both are made of a different, softer fabric. She prefers the softer mermaid tail blanket and she's taller than her, but she likes this one too. This one has a knit look, the other has a soft, cozy fabric that looks and feels. We are definitely happy with the purchase but for an 8 year old a different, softer version in a smaller size is better.

I ordered a pink-2 mermaid tail baby blanket for my niece's birthday. She is 6 years old and currently loves everything mermaid related. The mermaid blanket was one of the items on her birthday wish list and I was very happy to find it to continue being her favorite aunt. :) She liked it very much. The plaid is crocheted from yarn and is very soft. It has a variegated appearance with pink and soft pink. The front of the quilt is fully covered and there is a slit on the back that allows you toโ€ฆ

Not what I was hoping for

I am giving 4 stars because as a craftsman I know how long a project like this takes and I respect the time and skill required to create something like this. actually there were 3 stars. Too bad I didn't order the real version of the blanket. It is very long for its size, but the middle of the tail is not very wide and the material does not lend itself. My daughter is 44 inches tall and weighs 55 pounds and I don't think she can stand in the dick like the girl in the picture. It's a Christmasโ€ฆ
