🔍 JSP Steel Ring Mandrel for Accurate Sizing Review

This is exactly what I wanted! It was quite difficult to find an ungrooved ring mandrel and this one met my expectations. It's a good weight and I like the handle that makes it easier to hold.

Love this mandrel! I recently got into jewelry making and use it to make ring blanks. The steel is AMAZING because you can use a hammer right on it to measure the rings and it won't jingle! (Aluminum will be dented) My only concern is that I'm not sure of the exact sizing? I put my wedding ring on it to check the size and it says my ring is a size 3.75 when I was a size 4.

Very good solid mandrel. I use rings to make coin rings so I've hit them with a hammer many times and they've held up very well. The knobby handle is comfortable to hold and heavy so the hammer hardly bounces. the size seems perfect. People have asked me to make specific sized rings for them and they all seem very happy with the fit. I really like the satin finish. When shaping a ring from a coin I have to shape it and the finish allows me to work a smaller ring than a very polished mandrel.
