Strong rope - easy replacement

We have a really nice 6 foot tall scratching post with a scratching post stand. In recent years, cats have completely destroyed it. I've never replaced the rope on a scratching post, but it was so easy with this rope. Just tie it at the bottom and wrap it tightly until you reach the top, then tie it again. I wrapped right over the old material. It looks like new. The rope is strong and durable. I assume this will take at least another year or two. 98 feet is a lot of rope. I managed to wrap 26…

98 feet is good for a tall rack and possibly a short one. Works well. A bit expensive

We have several cat trees and they all have this sisal rope on vertical bars. Some are high and some are low. We see that cats only scratch at high poles. Surprisingly, 98 feet is really enough to wrap a tall pole and a short pole. However, short ones do not scratch and do not need to be replaced. I have quite a bit of rope that cannot be used. We used a combination of a hot glue gun and Elmer's glue to hold the rope in place. Smear the cardboard tube with Elmers paint and then use a glue gun…

Ugly, rough and prickly to me, but he loves it!
